Description
Rain Drop Sensor Module – MOD-QC0023
The Rain Drop Sensor Module – MOD-QC0023 is designed to detect rain or water presence in environmental monitoring systems. The module works by measuring the resistance changes on the sensor plate when water droplets fall on it.
The module includes a rain sensing plate and a control board based on the LM393 comparator. When water drops touch the sensor plate, the resistance changes and the module generates an output signal that can be read by microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, and other development boards.
The module provides both digital output (rain detected or not) and analog output (rain intensity level), allowing flexible use in different applications.
Key Features:
- Detects rain and water droplets
- Provides both analog and digital output
- Based on LM393 comparator module
- Adjustable sensitivity using onboard potentiometer
- Simple interface for microcontrollers
- Compatible with Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, and Raspberry Pi
Applications:
- Rain detection systems
- Weather monitoring stations
- Smart irrigation systems
- Automatic window or roof control
- Environmental monitoring projects
- DIY electronics and IoT projects
The Rain Drop Sensor Module – MOD-QC0023 is widely used in weather monitoring and smart automation projects where rain detection is required.
